Susan's Story

At the age of 57 I decided to "reinvent myself". After being laid off from my admin job of nearly 10 years and unable to find a new position, I decided to follow my passion. I am studying to become an esthetician. I take classes part time at the Christine Valmy Institute--one of the top esthetics schools in the country.
I love the health and beauty field, and I'm excited to be a part of it. The field of esthetics is ever growing and new breakthroughs and products are on the horizon.
I was widowed in 2005, and I'm currently single. I'm open to finding a fantastic guy to change that status, but until then, I'm happy and moving forward. I have three phenomenal children--a daughter, age 23; a son, age 21; and a daughter, age 18. I love this stage of life and rediscovering parts of me that were put on "hold". I awake each day with a feeling of deep gratitude.".
